I upgraded my wiki running on FreeBSD to 1.5.8 but now it appears that my *math extension is not cooperating. What I see is instead of an equation is:

*Failed to parse (PNG conversion failed; check for correct installation of latex, dvips, gs, and convert): <equation>

texvc wors fine on commandline, and I have checked the ownership and permissions of images-directory, so I am at a loss. *
