Hello,
I have been unsuccessful installing mediawiki 1.21. Would you be able to walk me through installing and configuring a newer version of mediawiki on our current system?
This in a development sandbox and I have root access. Currently running: PHP 5.3.1 Mysql 5.1.42 Apache 2.2.3 Redhat 5.9 Tikanga

Hi Ken, I've run MediaWiki on RHEL 5 and 6 several times. You shouldn't have any issues with it (although watch out for selinux blocking writes to the default upload directory). Can you describe what problems you're having? Are you unzipping the tarball into the web root, or are you using the epel package?

I have a large amount of data I backed up on the current 1.15 version that I need to migrate to an upgraded version of mediawiki. I unzipping the tarball into the web root. I tried installing both 1.21.2 and 1.19.8 unsuccessfully. I'm unable to pull up the wiki url after I install the upgrade. The browser page says, " Not Found The requested URL /mw/index.php/Main_Page was not found on this server. Apache/2.2.3 (Red Hat) Server at taser Port 80".
Thanks, Ken.
