Howdy I'm trying to get an alias setup for Main Page - so that we can have something more descriptive (at least to our way of thinking). Is there an easy way to do this? In particular I have installed WikiDrops and would like the Main Page be displayed as "NCS ES Home" (for example :)). Thanks r

OK - That works, but how to get that page linked to the new name? BTW are there more "secrets" in the MediWiki:* world I should know about? r

Move the page "Main Page" to the new name, using the "move" tab.

You can change the interface strings, and several configuration settings (block durations, etc.), using these messages.

New subject: [Mediawiki-l] Alias for Main Page

In you wiki, you can see a list of all pages in MediaWiki namespace. Check Domain/PathToYourWiki/index.php?title=Especial%3AAllpages&from=&namespace=8 to see the whole list.
