http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Starting_a_new_page provides one option for 'starting a page'. My question is: how does one create a (start page) box llike this on my own wiki? I copied & pasted the code from the example but this doesn't seem to work. MikeT

This is done with the addition of an extension to MediaWiki, called InputBox. Full instructions on its use can be found at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Inputbox, while the extension itself can be downloaded from http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/*checkout*/wikipedia/extensions/input…. Hi Mike, this is too simple. Just search for the article you want to create. Then the system says, that this article could not be found and it gives you a link to create a new article whith the header you searched for. so click on that link and post inthere your content. I don't use any extension, just the following html code inside a page you want the form : <form method="GET" action="../index.php"> <input type="text" size="30" name="title"> <input type="submit" value="Go for a new page"> <input type="hidden" name="action" value="edit"> </form> Read you, Jej Laptop Cartop a écrit :
