Id like to make my mediawiki case insensitive. Is it possible to do this?
IE... a page titled "Foam core" and "Foam Core" the same. Im tired of links being set as "wanted" just because one of the letters in the title is a different capitalization.

As far as I know, there is no extension/option to make the built in search engine do as you ask. That is one of the reasons why there have been a number of extensions written to replace the built in search engine with alternatives. The one I am partial to (being the co-author) is the http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:SphinxSearch. However, there are a number of others as well which you can see at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Category:Search_extensions.
