Dear All, Does anyone know of any plugin/extention that implements the concept of document ownership in MediaWiki. I would like to implement a system where only a small group of editors can create pages, and assign them to particular users so they can edit them.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions
Regards,

What you're looking for is not a wiki. Sure, you can try to adjust the software to your needs, but wiki software wasn't made for that kind of use.

Try this extensions:
GroupWikiBase http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/GroupWikiBase
Group Based AccessControl http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Group_Based_Access_Control

You could also take a look at the PageSecurity Extension: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:PageSecurity
It does not implement a workflow, but it allows restricting edit access.
