What is the best forum software that can be integrated with Mediawiki?
Is there an extension for a good Forum.
This one looks good; anyone tried? http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:AWC%27s_Forum
Hi, I did checked with <goog_1236283981983>Elite Bulletin Boardhttp://elite-board.us/and they say it can be easily customized to go with Mediawiki. But this software is written by one person and what I am worried is what will happen if one day he decides not to continue? Anyone has any idea how to overcome this?

Well, it's GPL, so you can update it. More likely, if there're many people working on it, it will stop being a one man software and be community driven. I'd be more concerned about how that person understands security, as what he thinks it's secure could not be. So, I'd review it before placing on line :)
