Hello,
There is a Wiki that has approximately 25 menu items on the main page, and one of the menu items lost the content of the pages below it. Therefore, if you click the menu item, the page displays the pages below it in red text. The owner of the wiki indicated that he had access the pages a couple of days prior to noticing the loss.
I've checked the wiki for records of the pages existing and had no success. There was also an extensive search in the database backup, and there was no trace of the pages ever existing. It is as if the pages had never existed. However, the owner indicated that he did save the pages originally and had accessed them on many occasions.
I would appreciate it if someone could shed some light on this.
Here is the configuration: MediaWiki 1.11.0 PHP 5.1.6 MySQL 5.0.77
Here is part of what the wiki text looks like for the page is question: === Registration Calendar ===
Year break-down of what-happens-when, including reports to be run.
Law Registration Notes
Registration Error Reports
Clean-up Reports
Registration Status Codes - Adding, Dropping & Auditing
X/Y-Course Registration
Thanks, Graham
Hello,
Does anyone have some input regarding this issue?

There may be a bug that eats data, but since it's 1.11, there wont be much impetus to find out and absolutely none to fix it.

AFAIK that shouldn't have happened. Much less disappearing from the backups! Note that Wikipedia did run 1.11 at one time, so a random file disappearing is really odd but without being able to view the wiki and/or database, there's little to investigate from here. Did you run some maintenance script which could have affected the revisions (eg. compressOld.php, deleteOldRevisions.php)? Were you using external storage? Maybe if it was externally stored, and the ES server went down... But the entries at page and revision tables should still be there...
Hello Platonides,
I have been alerted that our backups of the database hadn't been working, which explains the database issue. However, why pages would disappear is a mystery. No maintenance scripts were run.

Hello Platonides,
Yesterday the move feature started working for me, however, I had to restart my computer, and it isn't working again.
Is there a way of scripting a bulk move, for example, there is a number of pages in the main area, and they are to be move to specific Namespaces.
Thanks, Graham
