Hello:
I've just upgraded from MediaWiki 1.4.11 to 1.8.1. The upgrade appears to have gone ok. The only thing is now I have several duplicate tables with "_old" appended to the table name; e.g., archive_old, categorylinks_old, image_old, imagelinks_old, etc.
Can these "old" tables be dropped from the db?
Thanks,
~Tricia

Yes, if you don't have to undo parts of your upgrade because it died halfway through ;) you are free to remove them.
