[Mediawiki-l] Disabling feeds pre-1.13

Hi,

I am surprised to learn that http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:%24wgFeed $wgFeed which lets you turn off feeds, will only be available in v1.13. Until then, is there a way to turn off feeds? Maybe by deleting or blanking some file? Set $wgFeedLimit to 0 or -1? :)
