Firstly i recommend: 1. Enable HTML Tidy on your wiki install http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:%24wgUseTidy 2. Export the template from en.wiki using Special:Export http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Export 3. Make sure you have all the required CSS stylings copied over from en.wiki to yours, The main places to check would be the (A) Common.Css http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Common.css (B) Monobook.Css http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Monobook.css as well as any other css files for skins your using.
