There should be one or more tracking bugs as custom namespaces at Wikimedia Foundation (tracking) for cookbook, author, portal, etc. namespaces As far as I can remember commons: has custum namespaces too.
The "product", "component" etc. fields should be unified and the summaries should help searching these bugs.
