Basically, imagemagick requires running a program from PHP (which is disabled in safe_mode).
You need to have the gd extension installed (which, by default, it is) in order to use image resizing. Otherwise, you need to disable it.

on the server on which my wiki run also php_save_mode is running; therefore i get a warning when I try to upload pictures or when I try to open new image gallery; for example:
*Warning*: shell_exec(): Cannot execute using backquotes in Safe Mode in
*/home/www/web32/html/includes/Image.php* on line *563*
*Warning*: stat(): Stat failed for /home/www/web32/html/images/thumb/f/fd/421px-auffang-leitlinie.png (errno=2 - No such file or directory) in */home/www/web32/html/includes/Image.php* on line *1042
Is there a possibility to run php_save_mode on the server and to use the upload and the gallery? regards bernie
