That was anyway what I need personally sometimes, and just for the comments except from performance related issues there should not be any problem with such a extension/feature since we all do it manually every time. Anyway thanks, I would try to look for some other interesting work.
A overall look on projects available http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Summer_of_Code_2006#Evaluate_PostgreSQL_as_an... to me intresting to me following was straight
- get this existing PostgreSQL support working properly again - benchmark it on heavy simulated loads
can I get comments on what exactly you mean by
- study the scalability of using Postgres' built-in replication support for large installations such as Wikipedia
If possible can I ask what is the motivation for using postgres (I have always worked with Mysql only :( . )

Hi all, I am planning to work on Mediawiki for google SoC, in particular I think
of
following project,
While editing we need to take care of adding relevant [[page title |
some
text ]] for the words which already have a page created. there is no functionality for this as I know.
This is not something we would generally consider to be very useful or practical, so would not likely be accepted as a Summer of Code project.
