Hi,
I'm running a pretty old version, 1.3.9, and would like to upgrade to the most current version, 1.6.6 as of now.
I'm not yet sure, but as it seems I've to do the upgrade in steps:
- upgraed to 1.4
- upgrade to 1.5
- finally upgrade to 1.6.6
Is this true or can I immidiately upgrade to 1.6.6?
For us only the articles/categories are really important. Users, etc. are not relevant for us. We don't use any advanced stuff like templates or similiar things and there are just some few uploads.
Is there another way to export all the MediaWiki content to a neutral format which can be important into the latest version?
thanks,
- Markus

Yes, you need to make upgrades step by step for each lastest version.
I dont know how many articles you have so, make a backup of your database and try to upgrade.

Good luck.
