I tried that one, but unfortunately it didn't work.

I still receive some sort of "unable to locate texvc" message."

Yeah, you can get it here:

In the downloads list, under "Support files" you'll notice the "texvc ... binaries". Download this and place the "texvc" file (there's only one with no extension) in your math folder in the wiki installation.
