Hi :)
I combined your answer with John W. Foster's one. I copied the Common.css into my MediaWiki:Common.css page and then copied the html elements and classes from MediaWiki Home page source code. I wanted to reproduce the topbox (the welcome message) and the first blocks and adapted it with my own content :)
Thanks both of you for your help :)

Hi :)
I would like to reproduce the template of the MediaWiki Home page. I read documentation about templates but I'm not sure that's what I need as the blocks I want to create are meant to be used only on the Home page of my wiki.
At the end of https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki&action=edit you will find a (long) list of templates.
You need to copy the content of each "Template:***" in a page of your wiki with exactly the same name.
However... what do you need exactly? Many of these templates are really specific to mediawiki.org. If you are interested only in e.g. the structure of the page then you won't need all the templates.
Also, I would like to know how to use CSS to place those blocks like on the MediaWiki Home page. I'm using the Vector theme.
Usually you would find the css of a MediaWiki instance at MediaWiki:Common.css but in our case you can find it here:
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Gadget-site.css
There is a Main Page Styling section.
