Worst case, I was simply going to print out and distribute the Meta "edit help" page from "http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Editing", possibly extracting just the tables from "#The_wiki_markup".
While they don't cover everything, I re-wrote some of the help tables into what I think is a bit more readable form. See http://wolfandturtle.net/Indigo/index.php/Help:Contents mostly the 'Editing and formating' page.
