I assume here you mean *for-profit* third party services. In any case, I see no major problem since in the end the people behind the service in question are long-time MediaWiki contributors.
If we took your argument to its logical conclusion we'd stop linking ("advertising") to Google, etc.
In general I think as long as these types of posts are infrequent and done by established community members, I see no issue with them.
