If you want caching, you'll have to install the appropriate engine. If you have shell access for your account, it should be possible, if potentially complicated to set up on a shared host.

By the way, I want to use memory caching in my "cheap" hosting, but mw installation says: Couldn't find Turck MMCache http://turck-mmcache.sourceforge.net, eAccelerator http://eaccelerator.sourceforge.net, or APC http://www.php.net/apc. Object caching functions cannot be used. what do u suggest!?
