[Mediawiki-l] Redirect on Image- Pages

Hello!

I have set up a wiki on my Solaris 10 and wanted to use images on the frontpage as easy, fast and nice links.

In other words, I embedded the graphics on my frontpage and wanted to put a redirect on those "image:" pages;

Yet the redirect does not seem to work, the "image:" - page looks like a normal redirect page, yet it just and easy does not do the redirect.

I am using MediaWiki 1.13.2, PHP 5.2.6 and Mysql 5.1.25

- is there any workaround or patch, since I am absolutely sure that this feature existed in early 2008?

Has someone experienced that problem?
