The page "Category:Whatever" lists all the pages in that category. If
you add content to the page that content appears before the list of
pages. Is there a simple way to add content that appears *after* the
list of pages?

I suspect the problem is with the forced ucfirst, not the search path.
If you declare the table as >vote<, then a query for >"Vote"< is not
going to match. The extension needs to either not duble quote the table
name (preferred), or change the schema to always use "Vote" as well.

I've seen that there is a "new" Wiki Adoption Request [1] for WeRelate [2],
a wonderful project that might help sourcing birth/death dates and hence
copyright status. I was wondering if there should be a standard procedure
for this kind of adoption requests. It is very easy to add a support for a
project, but not that easy to evaluate the hidden costs (migration, legal
deffense, etc), which might require some expertise on the topic.
With all this information at hand, maybe it would be easier to take
informed decissions and evaluate the kind of success that is expected from
a given adoption.

hello @all,
I try to use the Extension:BlogPage with Postgres.
This depents on VoteNY extension an there is my problem.
All SQL-files I have port to pgsql.
./extensions/VoteNY/VoteClass.php line 182 ff. generate the following query
SELECT vote_value FROM "Vote" WHERE vote_page_id = '0' AND username =
'Admin' LIMIT 1
but it must generate a query like
SELECT vote_value FROM mediawiki.Vote WHERE vote_page_id = '0' AND
username = 'Admin' LIMIT 1
The " are too mutch, and the schemata must added.
How can I fix this.
Thanks.

Basti

Hi!
Is there a way to make specific sections of article to show up only if
interface language is set to specific language?
E.g. I would like to show one content of a page for English users and other
content for German users. I would like to set this up on several pages,
incl Main Page. Is this possible and how? May be there is an extension that
does this?

Thanks Luis for mentioning Bad Behaviour: all the information about it
on mediawiki.org was wrong (it was described as an AbuseFilter-like
thing) so I had never looked into it before. You're the first person
mentioning success with it, but it's possible we only hear from unhappy
MediaWiki users which have problems with spam, not from those who solved
the problem. :)
I've updated the extension's page (and others):
https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Bad_Behavior
I see two issues:
1) they don't say anywhere if patterns for IP, HTTP headers etc. are
shared and checked on a central location (like Akismet does IIRC) or
kept local;
2) it's probably impossible to use it on Labs given this problem with
cache and privacy, though it may be useful for sites without caching or
with less strict privacy policies. http://redmine.ioerror.us/issues/41
