Forbiden Access

Hello all hopefully you can help, I am able to display my WIKI on firefox but when I try to edit content I get this error. I have set access to both the MediaWiki and the PHP directory, for networkservice which runs my pool and the IUSR user I am running windows 2003, PHP 5.3.6, on FastCGI Fast CGI is allowed under the webservice extensions on IIs the website has both script and executable permissions. AllImage search

Best way to redirect URL...

MediaWiki 1.16.4 PHP 5.2.17 (cgi-fcgi) MySQL 5.1.53-log Shared hosting through Dreamhost. The site in questions can be found at these locations. http://help.dgslibrary.org http://help.dgslibrary.org/Main_Page I'm trying to setup a wiki in the root directory of help.dgslibrary.org using short URLs. I used this method here . The short URLs work great. The problem is that if you try going to help.dgslibrary.org, you get "error id: 'bad_httpd_conf'. I've been looking at various ways to redirect to help.dgslibrary.org/Main_Page but I'm not very technical (I'm a bit technical but don't assume too much). Could anybody help me to figure this out? What would be the best way to redirect from http://help.dgslibrary.org to http://help.dgslibrary.og/Main_Page ? Thanks Chris

BREAKING CHANGE: action=watch now requires token (and API requires token and POST)

Hi all, As of MediaWiki 1.19 the action of watching or unwatching a page requires a token [1]. A similar measure was taken during the development of 1.17 for the markpatrolled action, and the reason is the same: To prevent third-party sites from executing write actions without the users' permission. The ApiWatch module must be posted and given a token. As with other edittoken-based api actions, the token is salted but stays the same throughout a session. Scripts may retrieve this token, as usual, through the ApiQueryInfo (must be logged in, anon users don't have action-watch) [4] On a sidenote, recently the the mw.user.tokens resourceloader module [8] has been created [9]. This, together with the mw.user.options module introduced in 1.17, gadgets can do advanced actions without polling the API for common data. If you script is ran from a wiki, you can get the tokens from [5] this Map without an http request to the query info module. An example has been made in the mediawiki.action.watch.ajax module [6]. This (un)watches through the API. The actual change in the WatchAction class was made in r89545 [3]. How to configure mediawiki that used for multiple wiki site to share MediaWiki:common.css

Hi, I have a mediawiki 1.16.5 instance. This wiki instance manage multiple wiki site. Each wiki site is a separate database. I want to add MediaWiki:common.css to one of the wiki but it only available to that wiki only. How may I share the common.css to other wiki site too? Apache rewrite rule with proxy flag fail to work for mediawiki service

I am testing on the apache rewrite rules with mediawiki. I wish to include a wiki service under a namespace of my domain. For example: http://mylan/wiki/Country will show content of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country My rule in .htaccess is RewriteRule ^/?wiki/(.*)$ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/$1 [P] Access the URL from browser: http://mylan/wiki/Country will show the content from wikipedia but the URL will switch to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Country I expect the URL remain as http://mylan/wiki/Country Please advise on how to make it works.
