Dear Experts,
Could someone instruct me on how to download stable production version of
mediawiki plugin? For example: I would like to get stable version of LDAP
Authentication plugin:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:LDAP_Authentication
the stable version is version 1.2b according to:
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:LDAP_Authentication#Current_version
There is, however, no link to download stable version, going along
download links I can get latest snapshot, which is not what I want.
Thanks a lot for your help.
Sincerely yours,
Valeri

I am using MediaWiki 1.12 version. Let's say I renamed/moved an article with
title "Project Blue" to it's new title "The Blue Project" using sysop admin
account. Now if I go to the Special Page "Special:AllPages", I still see the
name "Project Blue" along with "The Blue Project". How can I make mediawiki
NOT to display the old title (Project Blue)?
I know Mediawiki internally keeps a mapping/redirection when articles are
moved which is fine but I would like that when somebody clicks on
"Special:AllPages", the old title does not appear just to keep it clean and
less confusing.
Any ideas?
Hi,
I exported the help documents from mediawiki.org in xml format
and imported it on my site. I got all the pages. The only
problem, please take a look at this page
http://wiki.metastudio.org/index.php/Help:Formatting
The first para and the last where languages are shown shows
wiki text. What could be the problem ? Is there a need to import
all the data once again ?
Thank you

I have many pages in this format:
http://www.vtk.org/Wiki/VTK/Examples/Cxx/SimpleOperations/RandomSequence
I want to provide a button or a link to download the content in the
source tag under the section CMakeLists.txt as a text file. Is it
possible to do something like this?
Thanks!
David
Hello,
I'm writing a WYSIWYG/WYSIWYM editor for Mediawiki running under Windows
(it is a native client application, not an extension to install on the server).
It is very incomplete but it is ready for basic edition and it works with
Wikipedia. I'm looking for feedback; all suggestions and bug reports
are welcome.
Main features are:
* native Windows application: nothing to install on server, it works with
existing Mediawiki installations (version >= 1.16),
* history friendly: minimize differences when saving pages,
* templates edited as table or as source text depending on the context,
* outlining for easier navigation in big pages.
There is more information in the documentation in the zip archive.

I think the guy looks like the guy from Schindler's List, the actor Liam Neeson, who also was in Europe at least once, for sure (when he was making the film).

I mean, look at the guy, he looks just like Liam Neeson.

Don't know how the raping is compined with his pacifistic activities and character, but Liam is a man, right.
Please forward this message to all people who think that somebody who looks like a guy who looks like the guy who looks like Liam Neeson could also be a rapist.

Hi, MediaWiki Japanese users and translators!
(Cc: Japanese Wikimedian)
Thanks to many contribution,
Japanese localization of MediaWiki and its extensions messages
are almost completed now (usually 99.9%).
Therefore we're getting new phase - standardize the translations such as;
* translate a same English term to the same Japanese term.
** en<->ja dictionary for MediaWiki
* which punctuation mark we should use e.g. "、" and "。" for punctuation
* check and modifying translation errors etc.
See [[Portal:Ja/Standardizing MediaWiki Translation]][1] for more detail,
and leave your comment on talk page[2].
thanks.
