Hi,
Has anyone got the FileProtocolLink extension working on Mac OS X yet?
I've got it working on windows machines, but not Mac.
I've posted this about 5 times now and had no reply as to whether
anyone's done it or not.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
Dan
Where is subversion of the postgresql database schema? There's an error
between image and oldimage. Inserts into oldimage are based on nested
selects()'s from image -- the casting text::bytea doesn't work.
CREATE TABLE image (
[...snip...]
img_metadata TEXT,
);
CREATE TABLE oldimage (
[...snip...]
oi_metadata BYTEA NOT NULL DEFAULT '',
);
It looks like the Ubuntu flunkies already picked it up:

Hello,
Situation:
#######
i am running several wiki instances (mediawiki 1.10 on ubuntu-server)
inside a local / private network.
all wikis are accessable via:
http://my.local.ip.here/wikis/wiki_name/
All wikis do have file-upload enabled but limited regarding file-types
and size for sure.
The uploaded files using wiki's upload function end up in:
http://my.local.ip.here/wikis/wiki_name/images/"0-9 & a-f" <<
guess default behaviour
Task:
#####
Users of one of my wikis want to be able to upload larger files to the
wiki, i.e. Install-Packages of apps they are using etc...
As i dont think it is a good idea to use wikis upload function for
larger files (> 100/200MB) i think we do need another solution
Idea:
####
* Setup an SMB share on the wiki-server
* Users can upload the desired files into that smb-share from all
platforms (linux, windows, macs) without problem
* Cron-Script checks this smb-share periodicaly to import those files
into the wiki using /maintenance/importImages.php
http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Manual:ImportImages.php
* Cron-Script removes the files from the smb-share-folder
* Optional: write notice-mail to the user.
Question:
#######
* Experiences with such a setup ?
* Any hints & tricks i should know
* Any known problem using this idea ?
* Better ideas ?
Any feedback & hint is appreciated
Best regards
Florian

Hi
I am having problems getting phpFreeChat to load through this extension-
WikiChat.
phpFreeChat works fine outside the wiki - I think it may be a javascript
problem - urls look fine and no errors reported. I am using latest WikiChat
version and php 5.2
Any ideas welcome. Thanks.
