റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടും ആണു് ഇത്. മെറ്റാവിക്കിയില്‍ നിന്ന് ലഭിച്ച വിവരങ്ങളും, വിവിധ
വിക്കിടൂളുകളുടേയും സഹായത്തോടെ ലഭിച്ച വിവരങ്ങളും ആണു് ഈ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്
തയ്യാറാക്കുവാന്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചത്.
- 2009 മെയ് മാസം മലയാളം വിക്കിപീഡിയയില്‍ *220* ലേഖനങ്ങള്‍ പുതുതായി
കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ക്കപ്പെട്ടു. 2009 ജൂലൈ മാസം അവസാനിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ മലയാളം
വിക്കിപീഡിയയില്‍ *10,491* ലേഖനങ്ങള്‍ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു.
- പേജ് ഡെപ്ത് 155ല്‍ നിന്നു് *165* ആയി ഉയര്‍‌ന്നു. പേജ് ഡെപ്ത്തില്

ഇപ്പൊഴും ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനം നിലനിര്‍ത്തുന്നു. മറ്റു് ഇന്ത്യന്‍
വിക്കിപീഡിയകളേക്കാള്‍ നമ്മള്‍ ബഹുദൂരം മുന്‍പിലുമാണു്‍.നമ്മുടെ തൊട്ടു്
പിറകിലുള്ള ബംഗാളി വിക്കിയുടെ പെജു് ഡെപ്ത്തു് 62 മാത്രമാണു്.

[Passwords plz] - Watchlistr.com was an outside site that asked for
Wikimedia passwords in order aggregate user watchlists across all
projects for them. Although in this case it did not have a malicious
intent, use of external sites asking for passwords place in risk the
accounts used. Users are asked not to share their user password with
any external site. Not even toolserver tools are allowed to request
your password for any service. The site has now been shut down, and
further analysis revealed that it had important vulnerabilities.
Magnus Manske has created an alternative tool for people to use if
they liked this feature.

[Institutions editing] - the Tropenmuseum, a Dutch museum, was
preparing to upload images to the Dutch Wikipedia until it's account
was blocked due to its name. Erik Möller (User:Eloquence, Deputy
Director WMF) suggested on Commons-l that this is something we want to

Hello,
Due to a problem in one of our core routers in our Tampa cluster we need
to perform some network maintenance tomorrow, Friday July 31st around
12:00 UTC. We will be performing a software upgrade and reboot of the
router. This should not take more than a few minutes if everything goes
well. Unfortunately this means that practically all sites and services
will be down during that time.
For those interested: one of the line cards in the router failed earlier
this week. A replacement has arrived, but does not boot up correctly
after hot plugging. Because we want to upgrade the firmware anyway, we
will reboot the entire box.
