മലയാളം വിക്കി പഠനശിബിരം, കൊല്ലം 2 - പത്രക്കുറിപ്പ്

കൊല്ലത്ത് മാർച്ച് 05ന് നടക്കുന്ന പഠനശിബിരത്തിന്റെ പത്രക്കുറിപ്പ് ഇതോടൊപ്പം അയക്കുന്നു. ഈ വാർത്ത പരമാവധി ജനങ്ങളിലേക്കെത്തിക്കാനും, സമാന സ്വഭാവമുള്ള മറ്റു മെയിലിങ്ങ് ലിസ്റ്റുകളിലേക്ക് അയക്കുവാനും താല്പര്യപ്പെടുന്നു. മലയാളം വിക്കി പഠനശിബിരം, കൊല്ലം 2 - പത്രക്കുറിപ്പ് മലയാളം വിക്കി സംരംഭങ്ങളെക്കുറിച്ച് മനസ്സിലാക്കാനും, താല്പര്യമുള്ളവർക്ക് വിക്കിയിൽ പ്രവർത്തനം തുടങ്ങുവാനും സഹായിക്കുന്ന മലയാളം വിക്കി പഠന ശിബിരം 2011 മാർച്ച് 05 ശനിയാഴ്ച, കരുനാഗപ്പള്ളി അമൃത സ്കൂൾ ഓഫ് എഞ്ചിനീയറീങ്ങ് (Amrita School of Engineering, Amritapuri, Clappana P O, Kollam) കാമ്പസിൽ വെച്ച് നടത്തും. ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് 1 മണി മുതൽ വൈകുന്നേരം 5 മണി വരെ നടക്കുന്ന പഠനക്ലാസ് മലയാളം വിക്കിപീഡിയ പ്രവർത്തകർ നയിക്കും. വിക്കിപീഡിയ പദ്ധതികളെക്കുറിച്ച് സംശയനിവൃത്തി വരുത്താനുള്ള സൗകര്യവുമുണ്ട്. ലോകമെമ്പാടുമുള്ള മലയാളികളുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെ വികസിച്ച മലയാളം വിക്കിപീഡിയയിൽ നിലവിൽ 16,750-ൽ പരം ലേഖനങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്. സ്വതന്ത്ര ഓൺലൈൻ പുസ്തകശേഖരമായ വിക്കിഗ്രന്ഥശാലയും, സ്വതന്ത്ര ബഹുഭാഷാശബ്ദകോശമായ വിക്കിനിഘണ്ടുവും മറ്റും വരുംതലമുറയ്ക്ക് വിജ്ഞാനം പകരുന്ന പ്രധാന സ്രോതസ്സായി മാറാനിടയുള്ള പദ്ധതികളാണ്. നിലവിൽ കേരളത്തിനുപുറത്തുള്ള മലയാളികളാണ് പ്രധാനമായും വിക്കിപീഡിയ സംരംഭങ്ങളിലേക്ക് ഉള്ളടക്കം പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത്. ഇതിലേക്ക് കേരളീയരുടെ സജീവസാന്നിധ്യം ഉറപ്പാക്കുക എന്നതാണ് പഠനശിബിരത്തിന്റെ പ്രധാന ലക്ഷ്യം. പഠനശിബിരത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കാനാഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവർ പേര് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്യാൻ 09400865737, 09447416437 എന്ന നമ്പറുകളിൽ ബന്ധപ്പെടുകയോ help(a)mlwiki.in എന്ന മെയിൽ വിലാസത്തിൽ ഇ മെയിൽ അയക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുക. *Regards,* *Akhil S Unnithan* <http://www.google.com/profiles/akhilkrishnans#buzz>* ( അഖിലൻ<http://ml.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E0%B4%89%E0%B4%AA%E0%B4%AF%E0%B5%8B%E0%B4%95%…> )*

സുൽത്താൻബത്തേരി താലൂക്ക് ലൈബ്രറി കൌൺസിലിന്റെ ആഭിമുഖ്യത്തിൽ വയനാട് ജില്ലയിലെ കുറുവ ദ്വീപിൽ വച്ച് 2011 ഫെബ്രുവരി 19, 20 തിയതികളിലായി നടന്ന പ്രവർത്തക ശിൽ‌പ്പശാലയുടെ രണ്ടാം ദിവസം വിക്കിപീഡിയയെക്കുറിച്ച് ഒരു സെഷൻ അവതരിപ്പിക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ വിവരം സന്തോഷപൂർവ്വം അറിയിക്കുന്നു. പ്രസ്തുത സെഷനിൽ വിക്കിയെയും അനുബന്ധ സംരംഭങ്ങളേയും പറ്റിയും വിക്കിയിൽ ലേഖനമെഴുതുന്നതെങ്ങിനെയെന്നും സദസ്സിന് പരിചയപ്പെടുത്തി. As you may know, he is working on supporting input methods for the Indian languages. There is already an extension that helps for some languages but we are looking for support in MediaWiki itself. I blogged about this and used a picture of sheep walking over a dam. It is proverbial in my language; my hope is therefore that many Indians will find their way as MediaWiki developers. Not only to support their language but also to make MediaWiki even better then it is today.
