Hi Rohini/Srikanth,
I had a look at the form that was kindly provided to us at the Pune meeting (for discussion of WikiConference India, Mumbai 2011) by Arjuna this afternoon. NEFT is an option on the form and I feel the best option. Costs Rs.5 to process (any bank, anywhere in India) and available at ANY bank YOU bank with. All you need to do is go to your own bank with the Chapters bank A/c details (on the form), tell them you want to make and NEFT transfer (aka internet transfer) - they will process it for you. I am sure all of us have ATLEAST one personal bank A/c and this should not be an issue.
Kind Regards, User:AroundTheGlobe
AroundTheGlobe, That just happens to be the problem in my case. I don't have a bank account. Hence I have been asking if Challan deposit is an option. --Regards,

Rohini, I asked Gautam John the same question, If you can get a scanned copy of your signature on the form, then it can be emailed to the foundation, with the transaction/DD number. Else, a print out needs to be done. However since the DD will have to be sent physically, then the form can also be sent by post. --Regards, User:Rsrikanth05

@Srikanth, You can make a DD without any bank account, and @Chapter members, if you accept a A/C Payee check of a person whose son/daughter can use it for registration?
