Hoi, Last week Thursday there was no localisation for the Malayalam wikipedi, it did not have a mobile main page.. Today it is the first language of India that has the best support we can offer to mobile telephones. According to many, the mobile phone will generate much of our future traffic..
I hope and expect that India will amaze us and grow a vibrant and rich community for all its languages. Thanks, GerardM
Nice, this just proves that there is a dedicated team for Malayalam, if we can catalyse such guys for all languages, it'd be awesome.. :D

Hoi, What I am looking for is localisation for all the Wikipedia languages of India et al, preferably mobile main pages for all these languages.
LOADS of reports of what goes wrong.. including information about what mobile you are useing (assuming that en.wp works well) so that we can deal with the language technology issues.
Having localisations for all these languages shows an interest and show a commitment to provide an excellent service to our readers. Thanks, GerardM

It'd probably be a good idea to coordinate the collection of this information somewhere central, like on Meta-Wiki... maybe a subpage of [[m:Mobile]]?
Hoi, As you may know I blog about mobile. I found out that Bugzilla is the place for bugs.. http://ultimategerardm.blogspot.com/search/label/mobile Thanks, GerardM

Well yes, for bugs in the actual mobile interface (stuff we can control), we should use Bugzilla. I thought you were talking about keeping a list of what mobiles have unicode support, which don't, etc. :-)
Hoi, Maintaining a list of what languages have problems on spefic types of mobile hardware makes sense.. And Meta is as reasonable place as any. Thanks, GerardM
