My suggestion on this is, if this place name is already known/use/famous among Marathi people (in some form) please use that Marathi version. If it is a new name that is going to be used for the first time, please*transliterate the original name to Marathi *keeping the pronunciation of the word close to the original word in the best possible way.

There might be exceptions for this suggestion. But this will work most of the time.
