Dear all,
As announced on the mailing lists earlier, a Kannada Wikipedia Workshop was organized in Dharwad last week, the first ever such workshop in North Karnataka. We had 51 participants in all. It was encouraging to see more women in the audience. Thanks to everyone who made the workshop possible.
A detailed report is on my blog: http://hpnadig.net/blog/2011/06/03/kannada-wikipedia-workshop-dharwad/746

Hi Hariprasad Nadig, first of all, congrats.
May I know, what was your main theme on that work shop? Was it a Wiki-introduction workshop or editing Marathon?
Q: What did people like? editing workshop or Wiki-intro workshop. What was the background of the people who participated?
Please share the details, as it will be helpful to us also. :)

Surya,
It was an introductory workshop. I have described about that on the link I shared here earlier: http://hpnadig.net/blog/2011/06/03/kannada-wikipedia-workshop-dharwad/746

This is super Hari. 51 people is really awesome.
Would you mind posting this as a report on Wikimedia.in too, please?
Best,
Gautam
Gautam, Feel free to use the content from blog post for wikimedia.in (or is it wiki that we're talking about?). Felt that posting the same back again there would be redundant.
