Hi

Dear Indian Wikimedians,
Although Wikimedia chapter for Pakistan is still in the discussion phase, we've working on creating of an official Wikimedia User Group, since the numbers of our community members at the moment are not sufficient for the creation of a chapter.
Thanks for the update. All the best for the initiative.
Some ideas and suggestions from Indian chapter members will be welcomed and highly appreciated.
Chapter Wiki http://wiki.wikimedia.in has lot of information about our Chapter, its history etc. If you setup an IRC and inform, I am sure many Wikipedians would join and share their experience and/or provide clarifications.
Cheers Arjuna https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Arjunaraoc
All the Best to you all Wishing you good luck!!

Thank you all for your best wishes. I really appreciate such a good response from the Indian community. @Arjuna, we already have a mailing list for Pakistani Wikimedian community so I think there's no necessity of IRC room as well. @Rohini, I would like to see your valuable contributions to Wikivoyage. @Sibi, I liked your idea, currently most of the Wikimedians interested in this user group are actually based in Karachi so we will more focus on Karachi especially. @Tejaswini, we already have many Wikimedia projects (in local language such as Urdu, Punjabi, Sindhi and Pashto. regardsSaqib
