Saw something that might be of interest.
It is "...an effort by datameet to create a reasonably accurate Creative Commons geomapping of PIN codes in India."
I particularly like that it's under a liberal license we can use and also submit contributions to it. Should be of use to Wikimedia projects in India, right?
