The Wikimania people were nice enough to prioritize the editing of David Ferriero's closing plenary speech at Wikimania so that he could embed it in his blog post which was published today. I thought people on this list would be interested to view it, if you didn't get a chance to see it in person, and also to share and quote from it even if you did. It's all about putting our GLAM work in the context of ongoing trends in the cultural sector, and it was well-received by the live audience (though the cheering is a bit muted in the video). The full text will go up at archives.gov soon (herehttp://www.archives.gov/about/speeches/ferriero/index.html ).
