Yes, my interpretation was that it's the first person to fix it in any
medium. As a general rule, a change of medium does not invalidate
previous copyright (although it can do if you are changing it to such
an extent that it's the same information but a completely different
presentation of it - transcribing a video wouldn't qualify as that,
although summarising the video might).
