The author has now corrected the article. I've also added a paragraph
to our website to try to explain this a bit better in general; tweaks
to that text would be more than welcome.

The bit where they say we run the "Wikipedia UK" website is more of a
problem, I think. The fact that we don't run Wikipedia is extremely
important.
