Recognised by whom?
Not sure, but it seems that the next entity will be trying to get the status in the USA.
HMRC, for all their faults, makes the initial registration pretty straightforward https://www.gov.uk/charity-recognition-hmrc (sans any major issues with the governance of the company.). Getting registered with the Charity Commission https://www.gov.uk/setting-up-charity/register-your-charity is a bit more of a pain, but again shouldn't be that much of an issue.
@Seddon, they managed to at least partly resolve that issue, as far as I know.
Yes / they seem to work towards a slower *(not panic) transition of assets to WikiTide.com in the USA.
Kind regards,

I thought Miraheze was shutting down after some drama?

Somewhat off-topic, hope you do not mind, but it seems that MediaWiki farm Miraheze.org has been failing to get its legal entity Miraheze ltd. recognized as non-profit. Anyone informed of what went wrong? Is it as hard toget and keep as US 503c status?
