what could be worthwhile is for those who are doing major things like making arrangements
and need to coodinate with other members to use skype where possible as some things can
get lost through text. The nusing the already existant IRC channel as much as possible and
to have as much presence from the UK IRC community and as much presence from this mailing
list. To avoid clogging up contacts it could be worthwhile having a seperate account on
skype dedicated to conference meetings, not everyone has to have voice as its possible to
communicate with text interface as well.

There are web-based ones, like the public Wikizine interface, or the Java one that was on
the toolserver, etc.

Skype is more user-friendly but requires downloading the software, creating an account and
so on
Hmm you have to do that with IRC too...-- Al Tally(User:Majorly)
