Hi,
referring to a point in the minutes:
"Wikimedia trademark negotiation: AT e-mailed ChapCom but has not yet
received a response."
I'm not on the board, but my guess is that that refers to just chapter
status in general - the trademark agreement is the main part of
chapter status from what I can tell. The process of getting approval
is a negotiation, although it's one in which everyone has the same
basic goals, so hopefully it will be a very easy one! So, at the
moment, the main question is: "What do you think of our governing
documents?"
I see. It's not really appropriate for me the express my view on that before
the committee has taken its decision, so I shall just say that we're
actively considering this and that we will try to come to a resolution as
soon as possible. I will remind my colleagues in the committee again tonight
of this pending matter. [And if I do start to sound as if I was at the
Dispatch Box, this is by no means intended...]
