> A great thing to do on a Sunday!
I'm going to try and attend this one. I hope to see as many people as possible!
I'm very happy to share the fantastic news that our application for a £5,000 grant from the Wikimedia Foundation has been approved in full.
More details of our bid are given at http://uk.wikimedia.org/wiki/Initiatives/Bid
This grant will be a great help in kick starting the chapter's activities. By taking us over the £5,000 threshold it also simplifies our application for charitable status.
