DDs are lovely, standing orders are better than nothing but a pain if
DD is available. Alison Wheeler told WMUKv1 of charities who keep
small almost-unused accounts alive only because there's a standing
order being paid into them - DD is a "pull" rather than "push"
protocol, so is easier for the charity all round.
