Hi all,
Some of you might be interested in an event that Open Plaques (http://openplaques.org/) is organising tomorrow in London, an 'open day' to figure out where their project is going next: http://openplaquesopenday.eventbrite.com/
Sorry for the late notice about this.

Ah, interesting. It has prompted me to call for another Cambridge meetup for a month's time:

We were really looking for some small local project to tie into, and the "missing" plaques for Cambridge is a nice one.

Sounds like an organisation we should be encouraging to work with commons. We already have quite a few images of Blue Plaques, including ones that they don't have.
I'm assuming that an image of a blue plaque photographed from a public place in the UK is acceptable under our licensing, but would be interested in views from those who specialise in copyright matters.
