There's more at:

We should definitely be involved, not least to talk about geo-tagging articles, thus making them available, via our API to geo-sensitive services.

Dear All,
Just sending a reminder that this conference is approaching - call for workshop proposals closes on 25 February, and general call for papers closes in April. I hope we will have an involvement there.
Best wishes, Daria

An important conference. The organisers might consider trying to get a Wikipedian involved. (I know one in Nottingham, who is also active in OSM) They also might consider asking WMUK for financial assistance if required.
cheers Roger

Hi and thanks for the email!
We're very excited about bringing this event to the UK next year and would love to talk about wikimedia involvement of any kind. I've cc'd our conference chair Steven and my fellow deputy chair Jeremy so they are in the loop.
Thanks again
