Hi all,
We have 2 events on Feb 3 which you should all come to!
We are hosting our first Wikidata hackathon at Newspeak House in East London, teaching people how to use Wikidata. It's been quite short notice to organise, but we are hoping it will be a launchpad for future hackathons. We'd like to create more Wikidata users in the UK, and see how we can use Wikidata within our partnerships, as well as encouraging people to upload new data sets.
We'd love to see you all at the hackathon, as well as the event with Katherine Maher from the WMF later on the same day.
Sign up for the hackathon here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wikidata-hackathon-in-london-all-levels-of-experience-welcome-tickets-42426460686 .
Sign up for the 'Future of Wikipedia' talk with Katherine Maher here https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/the-future-of-wikipedia-tickets-42271530285 .
