This is a quick reminder that the deadline to stand for the Wikimedia UK board at this year's AGM is this *Friday 6th September*. Details of how to stand are on this page https://wikimedia.org.uk/wiki/Board/Becoming_a_trustee (under 'nomination procedure') and involve emailing tellers@wikimedia.org.uk with some basic personal information and a short (300 word) statement. There are three vacancies at this year's election and we are keen for community members to put themselves forward.
