Dear all,
Toni Sant, our Education Organiser, suggested that it might be useful for him to have a set of trainer profiles publicly available on the WMUK wiki. Not only would this increase the professionalism of our training initiative, it would help increase the coordination of our efforts. I would encourage anyone who has trained in the past, or has passed the Train the Trainers course to create their own profile.
I've created a profile for myself: http://uk.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Deskana. To ensure standardisation, I'd suggest using the template I used. In particular, note that if you are an accredited trainer, using the {{accreditation}} template in the "What I do" section will automatically place you in an appropriate category.
Feel free to get in touch with my if you need help building your profile.
Thanks, Dan
Nice idea - I am just writing the review of Train the Trainers and will add this as a recommendation. Very timely. Jon

Given my past reservations on the accreditation process, which I don't yet
feel have been addressed, I'm not sure I'd want to do that.

Well, that's fine too. People can choose how they wish to identify themselves. Indeed, people don't even need to create a profile if they find it not to their liking.
