Was anything like this talked about at the recent Birmingham meetup? I was
in fact in Birmingham that day and may have bumped into a few of you without
realising; I was busy though. Is there going to be a writeup?
This page on meta [1] which I found today will be useful in finding
proactive people willing to help our bid. For your information, I was told
today that we may have more time past December 2007 to submit our bid, so
good news there. Do not let that delay anything you might wish to do though,
as that is not good at all.
Please feel free to make new subpages of m:Wikimania 2009/UK and carry out
your own research into prices, locations, everything - take a look at that
page and the bid template to see what we need. Every little helps as they
say, pretty much the philosophy of collaborative writing - a wiki.
Kind regards,

I changed it to m:Wikimania 2009/UK as a host city has not been decided on
yet.
