Another week, another exciting meeting! :D
Just a reminder that the board of the newly proposed chapter meeting starts in just under 2 hours time. Agenda is on http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Wikimedia_UK_v2.0/Board_meeting/2008-10-21/Agenda.

It looks like it will be an interesting (and hopefully not too long!) meeting. Unless I do extremely poorly, I'll be playing poker at the time, but I look forward to reading the logs (I'll probably sit idle in the channel). I'm particularly interested in what you decide about membership - my advice, keep it simple: Have everyone and anyone (except possibly corporate members) that wants to be involved and is willing to pay as guarantors. The privacy concerns are minimal (all that needs to be released is your real name, nothing that can associate that name with anyone) and despite what v1.0 have said, I can't see any problem with charging membership fees (it seems they were simply mistaken). If we end up with lots of barely active members than don't turn up to AGMs, we can lower the quorum, it's a lot of paperwork but it's perfectly doable.
