Dear all
As many of you know, Richard Symonds left Wikimedia UK at the end of August. After some consideration of how to replace Richard, we have decided to create two new roles; a part time Finance Assistant and a new *Membership, Fundraising and Operations Assistant*, for which applications are now open.
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with a high level of organisational skills and experience of providing administrative support within a not-for-profit setting. An understanding of membership organisations is desirable, as is experience of supporting fundraising activities. The closing date for applications is midnight on *Monday 31st October 2016*.
The job description and person specification for the post can be found here:

Any support in promoting this post would be much appreciated. If you are interested yourself, but want to find out more about the role, please feel free to send me an email and we can arrange a time to speak.
Thanks and best wishes Lucy

So no move North then? :-)

Well for the moment we're in London - the office is not likely to be moving until December 2017/January 2018. Personally I'd love a move North - over the border in fact - but not sure how viable that is!

Towards an independent Scotland, inside the EU?
:-)
Scotland does have some rather interesting castles
