You may have seen the unveiling of the 'Leekfrith Torcs' on the news today.
Clem Rutter started, and I expanded:

I'm particularly please that the 9Mb image used was released, promptly after my request, by Staffordshire County Council. UK local government bodes such as that one are not usually known for their grasp of open content and the importance of making such media available under open licences. I'll be using it a lot, as a case study - with 25 million main-page views per day, I'm hoping that it will help to change attitudes in other public bodies!
